ELLI - Promoting cleantech business, efficiency and regional energy production  

During 2016-2017, ELLI project examined the strengths and opportunities of cleantech in three regions, Päijät-Häme, Kanta-Häme and Uusimaa. Also plans of future energy solutions were created for three residential areas and marketing material was produced to support cleantech companies.

The ELLI project, financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Lahti University of Applied Sciences was the lead partner of the project and the other partners were Häme University of Applied Sciences, Lahti Region Development LADEC Ltd, Lappeenranta University of Technology, Laurea University of Applied Sciences, and SYKLI Environmental School of Finland.

Actions in ELLI project 

  • Defining the main aspects of energy efficiency in case residential districts
  • Producing e-marketing and promotional material to inform and support businesses
  • Workshops on alternative future scenaries to support energy efficient regional planning and sustainable strategies
